because she couldn't run the risk of being called a commie pinko librul if by just reporting the facts the pukes would look bad.
So, she has to do the "fair and balanced, both sides do it and are equally bad" bullsh*t media dance that has greatly contributed to wrecking the nation.
I know from talking to casual acquaintances who are not politically astute that when they watch cable "news", they come away confused, uninformed, and believing that it's all just a big mess in which both sides are equally complicit. They are disgusted with both sides and don't believe me when I say there is in fact a BIG difference (if I can engage them in a discussion and bring up facts, that does help to get them thinking).
But that's the goal--that's what corp media ownership wants-- a confused, disengaged electorate. Mrs. Greenspan has been a willing accomplice in bringing about that sad state of affairs.
