The tech guys like Gianforte are among the most pathetic. Supposedly they can do the math, but at some point they became afraid of very large and very small numbers.

The universe is very big, and humans are very small. Some people simply can't deal with that. They'd rather believe silly things like the dinosaurs laughed at Noah so they all drowned.

You know what I think is a miracle? All my ancestors, going back billions of years since the beginning of life on earth survived to reproduce. So did yours. It's a great privilege to be a visitor to this place, even for an infinitesimal moment in time.
