took on the establishment decades ago during the L.A.crack epedimic which destroyed so many lives in her congressional district. She and journalists, Gary Webb raised questions about the CIA's possible involvement in the spread of crack cocaine in urban areas.

If you get a chance, read Gary Webb's "Dark Alliance".
