I think Brzezinski made a difference in "converting" or softening Scarborough.

2. Dr. Brzezinski was one of the smartest people ever in our government.

He predicted the fall of the USSR as early as the 1960s, when such an idea was unthinkable.

I read several of his books, too, and was very impressed by his insights. Particularly "The Grand Chessboard".

Of course, Jimmy Carter is one of the smartest human beings ever to become president, so it's no surprise he'd hire smart people. As he said, "Why not the best?"

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if he influenced Joe Scarborough. Everyone who met him spoke very highly of his intellect.
