Harding was president during prohibition which saw the rise of bootleggers and the establishment of the mafia as something more than protection rackets in "little italys" in our major cities. The Teapot Dome scandal was just one of the many scandals that happened under Harding. He is often rated as the the worst US President (but that was pre-Trump who is going to set a new scale for worst ever). The 1920s set the seed for the economic crash (years after Hardings death) and the subsequent rise of fascist nationalism and WWII.

So yeah, Trump could remind me of Harding.
