Great post. Elephant in the room, nothing to see here, pay no attention to the massive droppings.

A sizable chunk of our nation is devotedly criminal and decidedly anti-American, but it only works for them when we act fuzzy-minded and confused about their machination.

A part of me is eternally embarrassed for them. They're Throwbacks to a much earlier age, refusing to acknowledge lessons learned through much human agony. Always the ass-end of history, conservatives. Same crew that insisted in the divine right of kings. Same crew that insisted the earth was at the center of the universe. They are the Millstone we must carry forward.

Every day I am grateful to not be one of them. Because it's technically insane to believe what they believe. A dark, ugly mindset based on ignorant fear and nothing else. Minds like a prison.
