We had people that would accompany voters to the polls. My (volunteer) job was to help target voters to vote and narrow the voter lists down to those who needed additional info or help getting to the polls. We have volunteers from other states too, driving hundreds of miles to help us, democrats and Hillary win up and down the ballot. It was a magnificent inspiring effort.

There wasn't a person who wasn't in full press mode all the way up to the polls closing. We won our county for Hillary Clinton. We won our state for Clinton. And we won the democratic senate seat, but not a gain. All of us gave it everything we had to make that happen. tRump was a threat to our democracy and that motivated us.

It is with a pit in my stomach that we lost overall. And it is still hard to believe we are where we are today because of uninformed voters who backed a known grifter.
