is incorrect, many don't have any clue what they are saying, they believe it to be a pejorative that won't get their post hidden.

It's a new way for not very liberal people to insult the party they seem to hate so much but enjoy hovering around. The ones using it with no clue are not that different from Reagan, (actually to the right of him on certain issues), in his most amyloid plaque ridden incarnation.
