Ten minutes later, the Prayer Warrior has created a barricade by pouring the covfefe on the ground in a circle around him and is praying, "lord, if you just let me survive this I'll never sin again."

Across the street, two young African-Americans watch the whole scene play out.

"Amazing," said Geoffrey, "he made it a whole quarter-block before he lost his mind."
"Yes it is," said James. "They aren't making Prayer Warriors like they used to."
