In reply to the discussion: Dems don't want Hillary to leave the Spotlight. The Hill is full of shit [View all]Hortensis
(58,785 posts)In every era only some in a party are really happy with their eventual nominee, but in this one we know there are giant outside conspiracies to take us all down by fooling US into rejecting our best leaders, leaving us with less effective ones they believe they can finish off later. We also know their work is going on right here on DU, the most important liberal and Democratic social media site on the web.
Doubt that? 2020 is 3-1/2 years away. Why the flood of anti-Hillary, anti-others messages now?
As said, they have managed to systematically divide the American electorate to the point that the right half might as well be crazy -- since they behave like it. Now the conspirators are focusing harder on breaking the Democratic Party that has always kept them from achieving their various goals. They've never managed to destroy us before, but if they are to win in 2020 they will need a lot of help from us.
We are known not just by our principles but by the enemies they earn us. I'm actually very proud of both. If I hadn't already registered as a Democrat before, I would now. And our enemies would have to pry our best and top leaders from my cold, dead hand because that's the only way they'd get my cooperation.

These smug pilots have lost touch with regular passengers like us. Who thinks I should fly the plane?
