In reply to the discussion: If Comey hits a home run Chump will be at 30% approval by next Sunday. [View all]Hortensis
(58,785 posts)84. YES, but all blamed on US. OUR fault, not theirs.
The right has mostly been turned into one big unified attack dog. They don't need to be told anything but that we support something to rally against it. If we support it, it's bad. If it's bad we did it.
The same holds true, actually, for a good number on the farther left who've been turned by right-wing and left-wing propaganda (often hard to distinguish from each other), whether generated in our nation or from outside enemies, against the only healthy, principled, functional political party America currently has.
This is the reality of our era, when we all exist in a blizzard of corrupted, fake information launched as weapons against us.

It doesn't seem likely Comey is going to say Trump fired me because I'm a "nut case."

He had a reason for refusing to testify behind closed doors. He wants to ensure that GOP shills

Highly doubt Comey will say Trump didn't tell him to shut down Flynn investigation

Isn't Trump thinking of going to England on the day Comey testifies, and near their election?

I wonder what the mid terms will look like if Chump is mired in the thirties.

I can't recollect when we went into a midterm with a president's approval rating that low.

I think Comey knows Trump is a treacherous scumbag, and will do what is right for the country.
