by professionals for years, but more recent publications even within the last year show the sociopathic term being unable to cover for new studies based on brain scans and clinical professional discussion. You know, every time new studies come out the game board changes. Maybe next year psychopath will mean a fungal infection of the foot. As for now, I think the scans of sociopaths don't match in a predictable way but show activity more closely resembling that of NPD and Borderline Psychopathic Personality Disorder. At least that's how I understand it.
