31. Bad Idea. We Don't Have Enough Water For Tea-Tard Newcomers

Bad idea. We Texans are undergoing one of our periodic droughts. Even if our right-wing Republican nut-hatch state legislature was given the authority to secede by the federal government, we just don't have enough water to supply the influx of tens of millions of right-wing anti-environmentalist right-wing idiots.

Furthermore, considering what a number our dear governor Rick Perry and his fellow Republicans are doing on our state finances, if Texas were granted independence, in just a couple of years we'd be a sorry an international financial basket case as those countries we read about on the front page and in newspaper and internet business sections.

I'd go one further. If Texas were granted independence, the currently-entrenched state party's antics would make Greece look like a model of fiscal restraint, prudence, and solvency.
