Not too many understand the difference between concrete and asphalt. Asphalt is cheap and quick to deploy but you have to maintain it constantly and the lifespan might be a decade. If you use concrete, good concrete, you will probably get five decades with very little maintenance. I've got roads I can walk to that were done in the 30'swith concrete and they are in better shape than the asphalt crap that is only 10 yrs old.
