I'd recently turned 19. Thank you, 26th amendment!

In 1980, I considered voting for Anderson to protest the predicted Reagan landslide over Carter. I came to my senses and voted for Jimmy again. I've always been glad, both because Jimmy is an admirable person and because now I can always say I've voted by choice for the Democrat in every presidential election (11 and counting) and in every case, my vote was for the better person and president.
