36. They had a lot to do with why we have Sarah Palin.

They didn't give a flying fuck if she was remotely qualified to be Vice-President. All they cared about was "Gamechanger!!!" As if that somehow mattered.

Plus, quite frankly McCain himself was such a horror show. I don't understand why anyone with an ounce of integrity could have worked on his campaign. It does not appear as if either one of them has actually stood up to the Republican Party in any meaningful way.

To get a good insight into just how delusional Wallace is, read her novel "Eighteen Acres". The first female President is a Republican, so it's squarely in the realm of fantasy or science fiction. When that President's husband is unfaithful to her, she gets nothing but sympathy from the entire country. And at the end, now that she's won re-election, she's going to nominate her Press Secretary (another woman) to be Secretary of State. Whoa. How to pick really qualified people. Not.

She's written two other books but I can't bring myself to even take a look at them.
