Rump is not and never has been one of them. They include the huge powers back in the shadows and, I feel we have good reason to suspect, the ex- Director of the FBI. Among active conspirators may also be one or more on SCOTUS who were involved in eliminating voting rights protections; the excuse that they were no longer needed was ridiculous on its face and disproved literally starting immediately.
They played the cards they had to take power away from the Democrats -- large scale voter suppression, Trump's populist movement, Russian efforts to get rid of the Democratic threat to Putin's ambitions, and mass media swiftboating.
So they won and now are dealing with the problems Rump presents them. But Rump's power comes entirely from the fools who elected him and will last only until they can be persuaded to turn their backs on him.
