If Trump gets impeached and removed, they'd get President Pence, and as that's no real relief to you or me, to them I'm sure he's probably much easier to deal with on a personal basis than the highly volatile and mentally imbalanced Trump.

I guess they figure--as they should because it's true--they've permanently fused to Trump's legacy at this point, so if he goes down, he brings them all down with him politically.

For Pence and for congressional Republicans, there'd be no escaping Trump's toxic residual stench long after he's gone. Sucks for them.
