and was confirmed by the Senate; if a president is removed from office that doesn't mean every action he took while in office is automatically undone. However, whoever ends up the president would have the right to appoint their own people. Unfortunately, that person could be Paul Ryan, currently the next in the succession, so whoever he might appoint wouldn't be much of an improvement, if any.
