2. My father was an electrician and he too just wanted to work

He was a smart man and worked hard. He ran a small repair shop with just one assistant. He told me he could have grown the business and become wealthy, but he didn't want to just run a business, he wanted to do the actual work. We were not rich, but we never lacked for necessities, including the expensive college education my parents gave me.
