but willful ignorance. These lawmakers have been backing the NRA for decades, ignoring the pleas of people whose lives have been destroyed/damaged by bullets. Now it has come to them. One of their members was shot in the hip which at a first think wouldn't sound life threatening. But then you learn that one bullet it broke bones, entered his pelvis and did damage to some of his organs.
Hopefully, this will be a wake-up call for some of those who were planning on voting to remove restrictions from silencers yesterday.
