It will probably be a historical play someday...akin to the downfall of Rome. The EU has already said we can't depend on the US anymore. We need to regroup. China has taken our place in several areas.
The Repubs are so GREEDY and such Bullies that they let the country lose it's international status to put money in their pockets and the people who keep them there, donors who fund their elections
Citizens United was another notch in their belt...another way to misinform the electorate & out advertise the opposition.
