I understand that to people who voted for him, this wasn't that big a deal. But IMO, it's a big deal. I would be hard pressed to vote for someone as my district rep who didn't live in the district. Of course, if it was Repub or Dem, I'd vote Dem. But that's me. It no doubt played at least some part in the loss. He couldn't even vote for himself. A district rep needs to live in the district. Given the opponent, moderates would vote for him despite the residence, but it's that on-the-fence vote where it might matter.

She's now ahead by almost 10,000. 53% vs 47% Ossoff. 66% reporting. Unlikely he'll win. nt

nytimes is based on 48% precincts in, MSNBC is now showing 66% in /// and ossoff is behind
