7. I'm so sorry the news wasn't good

How upsetting and stressful.

It's terrible enough that you have medical decisions to make and medical concerns to worry about. It's beyond horrific that money has to enter your thoughts AT ALL at a time like this. This cannot be called a civilized country until a person's prognosis is completely unrelated to their socioeconomic situation.

My very best wishes to you both, and to your whole family, at this incredibly difficult time.
