The majority party didn't constantly work to ignore and enable nixons crimes.

Trump has been getting away with crimes that would have killed any other politician.
I'm not convinced that this is different.
The Republican party have no values or morals left.
They've become self serving mafia like party that protects and encourages crimes against the government.
