I'm sick of people making excuses for Trump supporters. These are adults, not children. They are responsible for their actions. They are responsible for voting for someone who is causing unspeakable damage to humans, animals, and the environment every minute that he is in office.

As I posted below, I am very skeptical that the Trump supporters the OP talks about are as "good, kind, and gentle" to people of color as they are to the white people who agree with their hateful views or avoid challenging those views. These people may seem kind and gentle, but the moment you scratch below the surface, you will find the hate, fear, racism, and sexism that allowed the right-wing media's dog whistles to resonate with them. Since I'm white, these people seem to think I will agree with their right-wing rhetoric. Even when I disagree with them and tell them that I don't wish to discuss politics with them, their hateful racist philosophy finds a way of making it into the conversation. These people are racist to the core. And I don't think anyone who opposes racism should be making excuses for them.
