210. Yes, they're responsible.

I can't be sure, but I suspect that many of them were drawn to those right-wing sources in the first place because they don't like the "mental discomfort" that they're more likely to see from other sources -- e.g., the USA isn't always doing good in the world, many whites were cruel slave owners in the past, etc.

They got some affirmation from FOX and other right-wing sites and, before long, they start to accept just about every lie that they see and hear -- e.g., the Clintons murdered their political enemies, Hillary should be arrested for treason, the rationalizations for Trump's behavior, etc.

Despite how I don't respect them, I still think those people might be among the most likely to vote for Democrats in the future among Trump's voters without even trying to appeal to their racial and cultural fears. Why? I'm basing it on this very lengthy and interesting survey of Trump's voters:

They're labeled the "American Preservationists" in that study and they comprised 20% of his votes. They're among the poorest and least educated of Trump's voters and they watch the most TV. They're also the group who expressed the strongest desire to work with Democrats in Washington and they were the least likely to want cuts to social spending.

On the other hand, the GOP old guard voters, labeled the "Staunch Republicans" and "Free Marketeers" in the study, comprised 56% of Trump's votes. They overwhelmingly voted for Trump (94%) over Clinton despite how Trump is a dangerous moron, while they're the most wealthy, most educated, least xenophobic, more globalist of his voters. They also watch the least TV. They were the groups who most desired cuts to social programs and most strongly opposed compromise with Democrats.

They're the "smart" Republicans, but they're the most dangerous in my opinion! If there's anyone who should know better than to vote for a dangerous person like Trump, it's them! Greed must know no bounds in their case.
