you did not begin the process as an innocent. There are those in this thread who are giving people a pass for raining this destruction down on our heads because they say these people were brainwashed by Fox and Trump(R) etc. As if they are just poor victims.

But in order to be brainwashed by Fox and Trump(R) etc, you had to have begun the process as a bigot and a sexist. You have to have SOUGHT OUT those sources. You had to be leaning that way before they ever got to you, or you would never have accepted their message.

So no. It is NOT brainwashing. It's a huge racism and sexism confirmation bias.

If you are going to tell me that Fox and Breitbart and Limbaugh enlarged it, I will buy that. But the racism and sexism were there to begin with, and they are the reason these people sought out those messages.

There are no innocents being led down a bad path here.
