Even if AHCA doesn't pass, I thought it would be useful to not let Rethugs off the hook for what they tried to jam through with this. Among people who watch right tilting "alternative" media, I doubt they really have a clue how toxic this bill is, that it embeds a large tax cut for the rich, that it was kept secret and then released with the intent of forcing a vote after just one week of discussion.

If you watch MSNBC and read the Washington Post, you're well aware of this, but I wondered if there were ways to hang this albatross around the Rethugs' neck more than it will be if this bill doesn't pass and people forget about it by election time. Trump held a freaking celebration when this $hit passed this House. Is there a way we could exact more of a political cost by exposing him on this?

To me, it's kind of like when Bush tried to privatize social security or jam through federal law infringing on family decisions on end of life choices with Terry Schaivo. Bush took a hit for those things in his approval rating that I suspect Trump will escape if AHCA doesn't pass. I'd like to see the Dems do a better job of penetrating the right wing media bubble and exact more of a price for what the Rethugs are attempting to do here.
