Montana Sen. Tester discusses 'disastrous' health care bill at townhall [View all]

Sen. Jon Tester took to Facebook on Tuesday to field questions from Montanans about health care proposals a few hours after the Senate delayed a vote on a plan to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.

He urged people to call their elected representatives and let them know their opposition to proposals that could be detrimental to health care.

The House in May passed the American Health Care Act with the Senate working to pass its own health care bill.

However, Senate GOP leaders on Tuesday delayed a vote until at least next month when they realized they did not have enough GOP votes to move it forward.
