...might be to do something that will convince the 50% of people who don't bother to vote, because they think there is NO DIFFERENCE between the two parties, that there is a good REASON to come out to vote.


For starters, I think that all states that are controlled by Democratic legislatures should declare election day a statutory holiday. That way, all the people who work that day, and don't have the option of taking the day off, can vote. Do that, and you'll never see a Republican congressman from a blue state again.
