SOUTHGATE — The pending eviction of two residents has been postponed after a recent hearing.

Shannon McEvilly, of Occupy Our Homes and spokeswoman for the Robert and Debbie Henry, said there will be a press conference at 10 a.m. Jan. 3 at the Henrys’ home, which will provide an update on their situation.

Another eviction hearing has been scheduled.

McEvilly said the Henrys could be evicted at any time and they will announce at the press conference if and how the bank is assisting them in avoiding foreclosure.

There will be a demonstration opposing their eviction at 11 a.m. in front of the Bank of America branch at 13763 North Line Road.
