(4,654 posts)... about rear end liability. If you slam on your brakes in front of another vehicle, the lawyers will target you. I promise. You'd be surprised how many vehicles have dash cams now. And since your proposal amounts to an intentional act, your insurance company will cut you loose and the other driver's legal team will be selling off your personal assets to satisfy the judgement.
And since your claims of whiplash would be intended to collect insurance money for your property damage and fake pain, you would be guilty of insurance fraud and perhaps perjury. Could actually do jail time.
Not to mention the small matter of endangering the lives of drivers and passengers around you with a stunt to "prove who can't be intimidated".
So have fun with that sly little plan of yours.
But at least you held your moral high ground and didn't let some other driver make you speed up a little to reduce congestion and improve traffic flow. Close one man. Close one.
