7. "Hawaiian" and "Hawaii resident" are two very different things.

Hawaiians are not Asian. Many Hawaii residents (kama'aina) are Asian, but that is not the same thing. To be called "Hawaiian", you have to have actual Hawaiian blood. Having been born in Hawaii is not enough.
