(7,142 posts)Keep pretending everyone that msnbc is so progressive. I remember well starting with Phil Donahue the people it canned when they went off script; Olbermann, Brashear, Uyger, Ratigan. Dylan Ratigan was more passionate than Rachel at the end. He was exposing crony capitalism, I never missed his show.
Chris Hayes is #2 behind Rachel and Joy and Lawrence are right there too. That's about it.
Remember, it's the narrative that matters. If Fox is saying that president Obama beat his wife, and CNN is saying it doesn't know yet, and msnbc is saying no he didn't, what's the difference, the topic is still about Obama beating his wife. How many of the 3 stations are pushing impeachment? How many are pushing for the 25th Amendment? How many are pushing Trump's sexual perversions?
It's all about the narrative, about good cop bad cop.
Rachel, Chris, Joy and Lawrence stray from the narrative, they better keep on their toes, Lawrence survived but the message was sent.
