13. Low voter turnout amongst Dems and Independents, but high tea party turnout

It explains how we got to Governor McFraudy as well.

Thankfully, our previous and more sensible governor (Crist) got rid of Diebold and electronic voting.

But here's the thing about West--he lives in Debbie Wasserman Shultz's district, and despite having a glowing hatred of her, he's too afraid to challenge her. So he ran in a neighboring district, District 22, twice. He lost the first time in 2008, but won in the Teabaggerthon 2010 election.

Of course, a combination of redistricting and West's penchant for continiually making an ass out of himself made him all the less popular in District 22.

So for 2012 Brave Sir Allen, the self-proclaimed war hero (if you call a "hero" somoene who has detainees beaten and conducts mock executions on them, and then being charged with violations of the UCMJ for such actions) hightails it out of District 22 and into District 18, a district up the coast with a slightly higher number of Republicans.

Too bad that not only does he have a Democratic challenger in the form of Patrick Murphy, but he even got a Republican challenger (who he is too afraid to debate).

I hope this guy's days in elected office are over soon; after losing I'm sure Fox will scoop him off the floor and give him plenty of punditry airtime.
