A good friend's son dead in an "accidental" shooting. [View all]
I hesitate to post this, but I just learned that a very good friend's (he lives a good distance from me) son died on Friday from an "accidental" gun shot. I use the quotes because such an "accident" isn't "accidental." It's negligence, plain and simple. "Accidental" shootings are 100% preventable by a variety of means. I do not know the details yet, but my heart is broken. I've known this kid since he was 4. He was 17 when he died.
