It's only software and is legal. It's what you load onto it that can land you in "throttled" land.

Your moves on the web is logged by many sources. Your internet provider is the one that knows your every move. Most users of Kodi that access pirated movies and tv shows use a VPN. (virtual private network) it hides you. I would never be online without one no matter what you're doing.

Why give up your privacy? Most VPN's are less than a 100 bucks a year, small price to stay private.
