It was completely dropped the day after the election. If it had been a real investigation and there was wrongdoing, it would have been continued. But the job was done and her campaign was tarred by it, as had always been the whole point of it.

They had no intention of ever proving any wrongdoing or prosecuting her since there was clearly no wrongdoing.
