I was thinking along the same lines. The Russians want to undermine our democracy and they will compromise anyone they can. There is no way that they just hacked Democrats, they are smarter than that. The Russians are pros when it comes to this sort of thing and Americans tend to be very gullible and naive.

I can picture the blackmail and behind-the-scenes extortion going on. Putin is probably having a field day with republicans, they can be so easy to compromise and/or buy. They all have tons to hide. That is undoubtedly why we see so little outrage from the republican side of the aisle. If we're lucky, we will see a domino effect, as one republican after another falls. If not, we are living in the final days of our democracy.
