(4,035 posts)since the election. Being a Hillary supporter, it just wasn't worth posting here. We were basically driven to just a couple of groups - the Hillary group and the AA group, and even there we were alert-hunted. It's still a risk for AAs to post in the AA group, and many prominent AA members have been put in limbo (FFR) for refusing to kowtow to the anti-Hillary contingent. I mean, the Stockholm syndrome series of posts were allowed to stand for a long time, and I never heard the admins say word about what happened to the jurors who let those posts stand.
Hillary Rodham Clinton is an incredibly strong woman, and an even stronger candidate. The abject misogyny of all the posters who claimed she was flawed etc, or who said they would vote for Warren to 'prove' that they weren't misogynists, and then turned around and attacked Warren for her lack of endorsement shows that even on the left, we have huge problems with sexism. DU should be aware of this and combat it, lest the forum becomes irrelevant.
