19. The "greatest generation" is dying off

by the hundreds every day. It was dying off by the thousands a decade ago, since so many are gone, my guess it is by the hundreds, maybe low thousands.

Anyway, I would hope that these people, and their grown children, would be reminding everyone what was sacrificed to stop the fascist authoritarianism we are faced with now. This is a dark road we are going down with Trump, Putin, and their apologists.
