This kind of conflation and downright falsehoods like there was anyone on DU that "laughed at us when we said there was Russian interference".

That didn't happen here. It is an invention for some with an need to create an ugly straw man to vent out against.

I find it increasingly upsetting to see this leftover primaries grudge allowed to continue in here. Where there is no room for nuance. I always thought this was a more open discussion site where things were not forged early into only two piles.

For instance, the mass majority of Bernie supporters followed Bernie's example and voted for Hillary. Especially here on DU. (on another site not so much) Yet on DU we have these rumor mongers perpetrating this myth that if you dared support him, as a DU member and Democratic party voter, you are just as much as a scum as a Trump voter.

She WAS flawed. But that was very much BECAUSE of Russian meddling. That is not in any way saying she was personally flawed in character, it means politically flawed. I don't know why that is so hard to differentiate with some. It was because of mostly the decades long relentless work of RW hate radio and TV. And yes, she made mistakes herself on top of it. Like support of NAFTA and the TPP which did not go down well in the rust belt. Or her email server mistake that she herself apologized for. But to be more nuanced, what I'm saying is that her mistakes alone should NOT have lost her the election. Every politician has at least some baggage. (that can be blown our of proportion by the enemy).

But IMO and others, because of those unfair and horrendous attacks on her and the Clinton name in general, Sanders would have been less flawed. Especially in garnering those few more votes needed in the rust belt. That is the truth, there needs to be no Hillary bashing intent to to have that simple opinion. It is naive to portent that it was only the Ruskies that took Hillary down. It was also because of GOP Governor led gerrymandering, and Crosscheck, and decades long fake news propaganda by RW hate radio and TV. In fact that had even more of an impact. There are those that are so dead set that the Clintons are murderous criminals because of this fake news brainwashing, it is sickening.

And to flip that around and to say FUCK YOU to all the Democrats that happened to support another candidate originally back in the primaries...for an election loss that was out of our hands from the get go because of ALL of those under handed tactics? I wish these folks would realize they are doing more damage than good, in regards to party unity, just to be able to vent their anger at fellow DUers as an easy and invented scapegoat in which to feel better. Why?
