49. You can't use food stamps for car repairs

You can only buy food, not even basics like toilet paper or shampoo with them. If she had tried to somehow convert her food benefits to cash, she would be guilty of fraud. Fruit and water aren't exactly champagne and caviar. I'm just surprised she wasn't wearing a fur coat or had a kid in Nikes with her.
