citizenship through our mother. We were in our fifties when we found out. If we had known, my husband and I could have moved, as a young couple with a young child, and raised our child there. It bothers me to this day that we didn't investigate that more thoroughly. Of course, there was no such thing as internet back then, so you had to actually show up at/call an embassy to find out any details, and I never did. I regret it to this day. I feel that my son would have been sooooooo much better off growing up in Canada.
