They won't remember the lie, Fox will tell them it's all the Democrats' fault (somehow), and they'll troop off to the polls and vote Republican again because the Republican candidate will promise them that their jobs will come back if they vote in Republicans. It won't be any truer, but it will again make them feel good, they can blame the Democrats, and do it all over again.
