6. All this time and people STILL don't get republicans

You think Ryan is a victim, you think he was "forced" to take a vote?

Lawrence O'Donnell played a bit with him on air two days ago, pathetically pleading for the the senate to "just pass something, so we can get it worked out ..."

Hell, he, McConnell and most of the Rs in congress want to destroy our health care and SS so desperately they can't hide their excitement.

You are right about 45, but the Rs are not victims or dupes here. Sure, the would rather have had someone like Cruz who was not 24-7 chaos and was smooth and said things in their sly little wink and nod ways, but they are 100% behind 45 because he is sick enough to enable what THEY WANT.
