...it's impossible to untangle the whole web of lies, deceit, and paranoia engulfing the US, Russia, and everybody else in the world. But even so--if Trump *did* meet all those times with Putin, what interest does it serve the Russians to announce it so publicly? To weaken Trump, and keep the whole scandal humming? Thereby weakening the US as a whole? If so, Putin must feel that he's in a "heads I win, tails you lose" situation regarding this whole business. I wonder if he'll discover that he's being a little too clever by half...
