A lot of us here have been going with Malignant Narcissism and Sociopathy, with others noting signs of Dementia. I've always said there's no reason why someone who's a narcissist and sociopath can't develop age-related dementia as well, especially since his father (by all accounts a real piece of work himself) developed Alzheimer's.

Now we can add Addiction to our armchair diagnoses. In my experience, it's never just one thing -- that's why they call it "a complex."

All are just trying to make some sense of the unfolding horror-show that we are unable to stop.
