As posted many times elsewhere, for 80 years the BSA have been inviting their ceremonial head, POTUS, to address the Scouts. As you well know, they are a non-political organization focused on the development of youth. If they had failed to invite him, or refused his request to speak (not sure which it was), that would have been an overtly political act.

This disgrace we have to everything good and sacred sitting in the oval office did what he always does, corrupted, abused and took advantage of the situation.

That is where our anger should be directed, not at BSA.
